Celebrate Recovery is a:

  • safe place to share;
  • refuge;
  • place to care for others and be cared for;
  • place where respect is given to each member;
  • place where confidentiality is highly regarded;
  • place to learn, grow, and become strong again;
  • place where you can take off your mask;
  • place for healthy challenges and risks; and
  • possible turning point in your life.

Features that make Celebrate Recovery unique:

  • It's based on the actual words of Jesus Christ (8 Beatitudes);
  • It's forward looking;
  • Puts strong emphasis on personal responsibility (facing up to your own responsibilities);
  • Emphasizes growing and healing in the context of a small group (face problems and take steps of recovery).

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

9 But he said to me. "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
